("QUEATIS") provides this Privacy Notice to inform you about our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Data and other data when using our Services. For the purposes of the European General Data Protection Regulation No. 679/2016 ("GDPR") and similar data protection laws, QUEATIS processes your Personal Data as a data controller. If you reside in California, please review Section 1 and Section 7, "California Residents: Your Privacy Rights in California," to familiarize yourself with our collection notice and information provided in accordance with California state law. Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Notice, the terms used in this Privacy Notice have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.
In this Privacy Notice, the terms "use" and "processing" of information include the use of cookies on your computer, conducting statistical or other analyses of information, and any use or processing of information in any way, including, among other things, collecting, storing, assessing, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing, and transferring information within our organization or between our affiliates in the United States or abroad.

Many of our services and features require certain Personal Data. If you decide not to provide the necessary Personal Data, you may not be able to use certain services or features. If you choose not to disclose your Personal Data, features that require personalization will not work for you.
Personal Data We Receive from Others:
Other parties may provide us with Personal Data. For example, if you create a QUEATIS account using your login from a third-party service (including a social network such as Facebook), we will access and collect information about you allowed by your privacy settings in that service so we can create an account for you. Social media platforms and advertising partners may also provide us with other information about you. We may combine this information with other Personal Data we have collected. Additionally, we may collect information you provide to device manufacturers if it is related to providing you with the Services. We may offer device-based or operating system-based authentication, such as fingerprint or face unlock, as a method of logging into certain Services. We are notified whether authentication was successful, but we do not have access to fingerprints or facial data.
Use of Personal Data:
We use each category of Personal Data described in this Section 1 for our business purposes. Our primary purposes for collecting information are to provide, support, and improve our products and services; to operate, maintain, and enhance the Services; and to enable our users to enjoy our Services, use them, and easily navigate through them. For example, we use your Personal Data to provide our Services, communicate with you regarding your account, and handle your requests. For instance, when you create an account through the Services and become a Registered User or when you decide to create your own profile, we may request Personal Data from you so that we can create your account or fill in your profile (see "Registered Users" below). We may also use your Personal Data to update our Services or features, conduct surveys, troubleshoot, protect our Sites, Apps, and users, or provide you with support. We use Personal Data to administer and evaluate your eligibility to participate in promotions and advertising campaigns, as well as for research and development; to verify requests made in accordance with this Privacy Notice; for security and protection purposes; and, if necessary, to prohibit or restrict access to our Services. To provide you with a consistent user experience and recognize you as a user in our Services, we may collect and aggregate Personal Data. For example, data collected when you visit the Site or App from one browser or device may be combined or linked with data collected when you visit the Site or App from another browser or device, which may also be combined or linked with product usage data.
We also use your Personal Data to improve and develop our products and services, personalize our products, better understand consumer interests related to our products and services, provide you with recommendations, and send you relevant offers. We may use the information you provide to draw conclusions about you, such as your preferences and characteristics. We may also use your Personal Data to send you QUEATIS newsletters, marketing or advertising materials, or other information that may interest you. If applicable law requires it, we will obtain your consent to send you these messages. If at any time you decide you no longer wish to receive them, follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the messages or update your user settings.
We may use Personal Data to process, evaluate, and take action on your job application. We will process your Personal Data to decide whether to contact you, invite you for an interview, or undertake any other recruitment and hiring activities. If we decide to further consider or offer you a role, we may send you subsequent messages and check references before confirming your appointment. We may use your Personal Data for background and employment checks, if allowed by law.
When we collect Confidential Information, we will use it for reasonably expected purposes in connection with the products or services you requested, to process and evaluate job applications, and as permitted by law.
Registered Users:
By becoming a Registered User, you can create a profile page by providing specific Personal Data. The profile page may be visible to other QUEATIS users and will display your profile name as well as your profile picture if you decide to upload one or agree to allow a third-party service (such as Facebook) to provide it to you. You can choose which other Personal Data you provide in your profile. Providing such information is voluntary and should correspond to the level of interaction you want to have with QUEATIS and its users.
Additional Information:
Other information will be considered Personal Data if it is combined with other data in such a way that you can be identified. However, if Other Information is used separately or in combination only with other non-identifying information, it will not be considered Personal Data. We may use Other Information for any purpose not prohibited by law.
We may combine your Personal Data with Other Information and combine it with information obtained from other users in an attempt to provide you with a better experience, improve the quality and value of the Services, and analyze and understand how our Services are used. We may also use aggregated information without aggregating it for specific purposes—for example, to deliver information to you in accordance with your preferences or restrictions.
Usage Information:
When you visit or use the Services or use the QUEATIS website or mobile application with QUEATIS features, we may automatically record Usage Information. The collected Usage Information may include details about your online sessions, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, the webpage you visited before coming to our Site, pages of our Site or Application that you visit (or the site you visited where there was a QUEATIS feature), time spent on these pages, information you search for, contact information or data you enter, products or content you view, links you click, access times and dates, mouse movements, screen shots, the model and identification number of your mobile device, user settings, location (if you enable this feature), as well as statistics and information about your use of the Site and Application. We also may track and collect App usage data, such as the date and time the App accesses our servers, your interaction with the App, what information was downloaded to the App, information about where you downloaded the App, and how often you use it. We use Usage Information to provide and enhance the Services, develop new products and product offerings that may interest you. We also use Usage Information to monitor and analyze the use of the Services, for technical administration, to ensure the security of the Site and Application and protect those who visit the Site or Application, to improve functionality and ease of use, and to better tailor our Services to our visitors' needs. For example, some Usage Information is collected so that when you revisit the Services, we recognize you and can display advertisements and other information tailored to your interests. Some Usage Information (such as your IP address) is considered Personal Data.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies:
Our Services use tracking technologies to collect Personal Information, including Usage Information. These tracking technologies may include, for example, cookies, pixels, APIs, and tags. While these tracking technologies work differently, they generally allow us, our service providers, and other third parties to collect and combine information about your online activity over time and on different websites and in apps. For example, they help us understand how you interact with the Site and use our Services, and store information such as your search preferences, account settings, and login data so that we can remember you and your settings when you return to the Site or Application and personalize your experience. These tools enable us to determine how many people visit our Services, as well as other analytics, whether visitors are new or returning, which pages visitors view and for how long, how well certain online advertising campaigns convert, and other similar usage data. In email communications, they may provide us with information such as how you interact with email, whether and when an email was opened, whether and how many times it was forwarded, and which links users click inside the email. They support the way we serve our advertising, measure its effectiveness, and determine the content and advertisements we offer you based on your interests. Based on tracking information, we, our service providers, and other third parties may adjust the content, products, services, advertising, and promotional offers we provide to better match your interests and inform you about products, services, and offers that may be of interest to you.
To support these activities, we and our partners may use information about your visits, how you use our Services, how you interact with our emails or offers, and your interactions with other third parties and other websites.
In addition to the mentioned functionalities, cookies and other tracking technologies may also perform functions necessary for the operation of the website or essential to its operation and functionality. For example, we use cookies to enhance your interaction with our Services, such as making it easier for you to return to the Site, retaining your shopping cart, or saving language preferences. The duration of tracking information about you depends on the type of cookies: we use both session cookies (which usually expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device for an extended period).
For additional information on the use of advertising tracking technologies and how to limit such use, refer to the "Interest-Based Advertising" and "Your Privacy Rights" sections below. Most internet browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can instruct your browser to block or delete cookies by changing its settings. However, if you limit or decline cookies, you may not be able to use all parts or all features of our Services.
We may de-identify or aggregate Personal Data (including Usage Information). We store and use such de-identified information in de-identified form, except as permitted by applicable law. We may use de-identified or aggregated data for any purposes not prohibited by law, including understanding our customers and improving our products and services.
2. Legal Basis for Processing
Below is an explanation of the various legal bases we have for processing your Personal Data:
-
To fulfill our contractual obligations to you or for pre-contractual actions taken at your request. For example: allowing you to register an account; providing you with services; fulfilling your orders for products and providing additional services (such as delivery, after-sales service, and managing returns); and processing your job application at QUEATIS.
-
With your consent. For example: processing medical information, such as allergy information, so we can tailor our recommendations for you; processing your application to participate in a promotional campaign/contest; sending you individual marketing messages related to our products and services, electronically (including email, notifications from third-party services, and mobile app notifications); and sharing your Personal Data with our selected trusted partners to assist us in sending individual marketing messages.
-
When we have a legitimate business interest. For example: managing inquiries you send us, including processing complaints; preventing fraud; protecting our rights in courts; improving the performance and security of our products and services, including the Application and Website; sending you customer support messages regarding products or services you have used or shown interest in, as well as conducting customer satisfaction surveys; contacting you for marketing purposes by phone (non-automated) and postal mail if you do not opt-out; and conducting activities useful for the transfer of business and its branches, acquisitions, mergers, splits, or other transformations, as well as for the completion of such transactions.
-
Due to legal obligations. We may also use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
If you do not want QUEATIS to use your electronic contact details for marketing purposes, you can always follow the "unsubscribe" instructions in our email communications or contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below.
3. Data Retention
QUEATIS will retain your Personal Data in accordance with applicable retention policies for as long as reasonably necessary to achieve the intended purpose, including the purposes for which Personal Data was collected and the purposes described above. We also retain information if required by law. Criteria used to determine our retention policy include the duration of our relationship with you, your requests, current commitments such as contracts and services, as well as our legal obligations.
If you delete your account, we have processes designed to delete or anonymize your Personal Data. If you do not use your account or do not receive emails from us for an extended period, we have processes designed to delete or anonymize your Personal Data.
Please note that we will store information in accordance with the law, prevent fraud, protect QUEATIS, collect fees, resolve disputes, address issues, assist in investigations, ensure compliance with our agreements, and take other actions permitted by law.
4. Information Shared with Third Parties
We share your Personal Data only as described in this Privacy Notice. Through the Services, you may transmit your Personal Data when you share something via our Service, provide consent (e.g., when we notify you that the information you provide will be shared in a certain way, and you provide us with such information), transfer Personal Data to a third-party service (if you permit such sharing), or share Personal Data with friends you want to connect with (in accordance with the preferences you set in your account).
Other Users:
When you post comments or content (e.g., reviews or recipes) on any QUEATIS bulletin boards or blogs, or when you use other interactive features available through or in connection with the Services, any data you choose to include will be visible to other users. We urge you to be very cautious when deciding to make any of your Personal Data or any other information publicly available through the Services. If you choose to use any social media features, such as the Facebook "Like" button and other widgets, or interactive mini-programs that we may offer through the Services, these features may collect your IP address and information about which page you are visiting on our Services and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Features and widgets of social networks may either be hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statements of the companies and social networks providing them.
Service Providers:
We may disclose any of your data to companies and individuals we engage to perform services on our behalf or to help us provide our Services, promote our Services, provide services to us or on our behalf, perform related services (e.g., maintenance services, database management, web analytics, and improvement of our features), or assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. We may also share information about your use of QUEATIS products with service providers storing this information to improve the Services.
Business and Advertising Partners:
With your consent, we may share your Personal Data with third parties so they can send you marketing messages about their own products and services. As previously explained, our Services may use cookies and tracking technologies. These tools enable us and advertising networks, social media companies, and other providers to collect and share information and serve relevant ads in our Services as well as on other websites, apps, services, and devices you may use. Your web browser may provide you with the ability to delete or limit the use of such cookies. Additionally, our U.S. websites allow you to opt-out of the use of cookies for targeted advertising by clicking the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link on those sites. We may share hashed contact information from our marketing database with social networks or advertising companies (e.g., Facebook, Google, Pinterest, etc.). If you have an account with these companies or if these companies can otherwise identify you, this information may be used to show you ads that are likely to be of interest to you, as well as to show ads to other people who, according to these companies, are similar to you (sometimes called "Lookalike Audiences" or "Similar Audiences"). Many social networks and advertising platforms (including Google and Facebook) allow you to customize your ad settings through your account on their platforms. You can also complete the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" webform available at whirlpoolcorp.com/privacy to opt-out of the disclosure of personal information for targeted advertising purposes.
5. Third-Party Apps and Services
Integration with Third-Party Apps and Services:
You can integrate our application with various third-party apps and services. If you choose to do so, we will share information with the respective third party and receive information from them as necessary for the proper functioning of the integration. For example:
-
If you use our application with compatible services or retailers, such as grocery stores, food delivery services, or meal delivery services, we may exchange information about your geographic location, food preferences, and ingredient choices.
Compliance with Laws, Protection, Security, and Law Enforcement:
In certain situations, QUEATIS may be required to disclose Personal Data in response to lawful requests from government authorities, including to satisfy national security or law enforcement requirements. QUEATIS collaborates with government and law enforcement officials, as well as private individuals, to ensure legal compliance. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private individuals if, in our sole discretion, we deem it necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal processes (including, among others, court subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of QUEATIS or third parties, to protect public safety, or to prevent or stop any activity that we may consider, or that poses a risk of being, illegal, unethical, or legally actionable.
Business Transfers:
QUEATIS may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including the disclosure and transfer of your Personal Data, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, or in the event of bankruptcy.
Other Situations:
We may transfer information in other situations when we notify you about it. We may disclose de-identified (including aggregated) information to third parties for any purpose not prohibited by law.
6. International Transfers
Our services are offered worldwide, so it is necessary to transfer your information internationally. Specifically, your information will be transferred and processed in the United States, where QUEATIS and our servers are located. Data protection laws and other laws of other countries, such as the United States, may not be as comprehensive as those in your country. QUEATIS's processing activities may be subject to data protection laws in your country, as well as U.S. privacy laws. We rely on legal bases for the lawful transfer of Personal Data internationally, including your consent and EU Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses (which require certain measures for privacy and security protection).
7. Data Management
We provide you with options to help you understand the Personal Data we use and to request changes to how we use them. You can contact us at any time to:
-
Obtain information about the purposes and methods of processing your Personal Data and confirm the processing of your Personal Data.
-
Request access to your Personal Data (commonly known as a "data subject access request"). This allows you to receive a copy of the Personal Data we hold about you.
-
Request to update, correct, or rectify your Personal Data that we hold. This allows you to correct any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, although we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide.
-
Request the deletion of your Personal Data. This allows you to ask us to delete your Personal Data if there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it (subject to specific exceptions that may apply under applicable law). You can also ask us to delete your Personal Data if you have successfully objected to their processing or when we are required to delete your Personal Data under local law. However, please note that we may not always be able to comply with your request for deletion for reasons that will be provided to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
-
Restrict the processing of your Personal Data. This allows you to ask us to suspend the processing of your Personal Data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data's accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful, but you do not want us to delete it; (c) where you need us to hold the data, even if we no longer require it, as you need it to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds for using it.
-
Object to the processing, in whole or in part, of your Personal Data when we rely on legitimate interest (or the interests of a third party), and there is something about your specific situation that makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information that override your rights and freedoms.
-
If we rely on your consent for processing your Personal Data, you can freely withdraw your consent to process your Personal Data at any time and opt out of marketing communications by clicking the "Unsubscribe" button at the bottom of our marketing communications.
-
In certain circumstances, provide your Personal Data to you or another service provider. We will provide you or your chosen third party with your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Please note that Personal Data processed based on our legitimate interests (or the interests of third parties) may not be portable.
-
Opt-out of the "sale" of Personal Data, as well as certain types of "behavioral" or "targeted" advertising based on information collected about you on non-affiliated websites, apps, or services (each as defined by applicable law). To make a request, click the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link in the sidebar of our Site, use the webform available at queatis.com, or contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section below.
If you wish to manage your data as described above or have any questions about the Personal Data we store about you, please contact us using the contact information below.
Generally, there is no fee required to use any of the data management options described in this section, but we may charge a reasonable fee if your requests are excessive or unfounded. In some cases, depending on where you live, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent national data protection authority or a court if you object to how we use your Personal Data. If you reside in Colorado, Connecticut, or Virginia, you may have the right to appeal to us if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your request. Please send these appeals directly to the Privacy Department at queatisfood@gmail.com, specifying "Appeal" in the subject line.
If you are a resident of the state of Nevada, you may request that we do not "sell" your "covered information" (as defined in applicable Nevada law). To make a request, please email us at queatisfood@gmail.com, specifying "Nevada, Do Not Sell" in the subject line.

9.Interest-Based Advertising/Your Choice
As previously explained, we and some third-party partners may place advertisements for our products and services on websites, applications, and platforms owned by other entities. We, our service providers, and other third parties may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar tracking technologies in your browser or device when you use our Services. We adhere to the self-regulatory principles of online behavioral advertising set by the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA). You can opt-out of certain interest-based advertising by visiting optout.aboutads.info, optout.privacyrights.info/, or optout.networkadvertising.org; to opt-out of mobile apps, visit aboutads.info/appchoices. You can also adjust the privacy or advertising settings on your mobile device to limit the collection or use of data for advertising using the "Limit Ad Tracking" setting on iOS devices or "Opt out of interest-based ads" on Android devices. Please note that even if you choose to opt-out (withdraw your consent), you will still see advertisements while browsing the internet.
